Devashish Sharma

Devashish Sharma is the Co-Founder and CEO at Taggd. Under his leadership, Taggd has become a leading recruitment partner for India Inc. He has helped set up talent engines for 100+ enterprises across sectors. He is a Member of CII’s National Committee for Skills and Livelihood, contributing to India’s skilling and employment agenda.

With over three decades of experience, Devashish has played a pivotal role in shaping India’s HR and recruitment landscape, guided by his belief that data and technology are the true building blocks of scale.

Prior to Taggd, Devashish was a founding member of PeopleStrong and held several multi-domain leadership portfolios across years, contributing to some of PeopleStrong’s strongest growth trajectories. Devashish started his entrepreneurial journey in the year 2000 through his own venture called JustFares India. Prior to that, he was one of the early movers to start outsourcing in India and was one of the key contributors who re-engineered some of Lufthansa’s key global business processes to bring successfully to India.

Devashish holds an MBA in Human Resources from NMIMS, Mumbai, and a Masters in Aviation Management from IATA’s Management Institute in Geneva.

Beyond the boardroom, Devashish serves as the Founder Trustee of YouinYou Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to the education of underprivileged children. A sought-after speaker at national and international forums, he continues to shape discourse on jobs, talent, and India’s growing role as the global talent hub.
