The India Skills Report 2025 explores India’s evolving role in the global talent economy, under the theme “Global Talent Mobility”, highlighting how Indian graduates are increasingly part of a borderless workforce.
Based on data from over 6.5 lakh candidates and insights from 1,000+ corporations across 15 industries, the report shows a notable 7 % rise in graduate employability- reaching 54.81 % in 2025.
It reveals sector-specific employability trends (e.g., management grads at 78 %, engineering at 71.5 %) and highlights Maharashtra, Karnataka and Delhi as emerging talent hubs.
With global talent mobility as a strategic focus, the report underscores India’s potential to fill workforce gaps abroad while also stressing the need for future-ready skills, regional parity and gender inclusion in the talent pipeline.
